Gurnee

Gurnee is a village in the far northern part of Illinois, and is in Lake County.  It is known for a number of reasons, among them the amusement park Six Flags Great America and a large mall, Gurnee Mills.

Cities that are near Gurnee include Waukegan, Libertyville, Grayslake, and Wadsworth.

There are various expressways and roads in and around Gurnee in which heavy vehicle traffic occurs.  Some of these roadways include I-94 (Interstate 94) – which is also known as the Tri-State Tollway – as well as Route 41, Grand Avenue, Washington Street and North Milwaukee Avenue.

Much of the heavy vehicle traffic flowing through Gurnee is on I-94 and Route 41, as  both serve as major conduits for traffic flowing to and from Wisconsin.
